Job summary

isepglobal in Kent is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join their friendly ecological consultancy. You will lead protected species and habitat surveys, undertake ecological assessments and Biodiversity Net Gain work, and manage projects.

The role requires 5+ years' consultancy experience, a relevant ecology degree, CIEEM membership, and a full UK driving licence. Hybrid working with TOIL, 28 days' annual leave and pension benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' ecological consultancy experience.
• CIEEM membership and relevant ecology qualifications.
• Strong UKHab, BNG, QGIS/ArcGIS and report-writing experience.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel in Kent.

Responsibilities

Join a friendly and passionate ecological consultancy working across the South East, with projects covering protected species, habitat creation, restoration and Biodiversity Net Gain. They are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their team in Kent.

As a Senior Ecologist, you will:

• Lead protected species and habitat surveys
• Undertake ecological assessments and BNG work
• Prepare technical reports and plans using QGIS/ArcGIS
• Manage projects and liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare and oversee protected species licence applications
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior ecologists
• Support habitat creation, restoration and mitigation strategies

Requirements:
