Senior Ecologist

Birmingham | £32,000 - £42,000

I am pleased to announce that I am looking for a Senior Ecologist to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy in Birmingham. They specialise in environmental services including Ecology, Landscape Architecture, and Arboriculture.

The team comprises experienced consultants who are passionate about delivering excellent results. They seek a Senior Ecologist to assist with team development and mentoring. The team serves an expanding client base with a focus on ecology.

Responsibilities include:

• Team leadership, project management, and business development
• Conducting field and office-based assignments
• Mentoring team members
• Producing EcIA reports and management plans

Requirements:

• Commercial and practical ecological experience with relevant professional membership
• Experience with Phase 1 Habitat surveys, Protected Species surveys, PEA, and EcIA
• Protected species survey licences are preferred
• Excellent report writing skills
