Job summary

NUVIA UK is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to support the discipline Lead Engineer, delivering engineering under schedule and client processes. The role is based in Warrington with hybrid working and a staff/contract arrangement.

You will produce design drawings, perform walkdowns, and ensure quality across regulated projects, collaborating with multi‑disciplinary teams and stakeholders. BPSS basic clearance is required; you must engage safely across nuclear and other high‑reliability

Qualifications

• Significant demonstratable experience in CE&I project delivery.
• Experience in specifying and down-selecting process instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience in structured requirements management / optioneering practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in highly-regulated industries.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels.
• Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Derive high-level engineering solutions via structured optioneering for instrumentation and remote handling.
• Perform plant configuration walkdowns to confirm baseline for design and assurance.
• Produce design drawings and documentation at all design stages.
• Ensure deliverables meet client checking and approval processes.
