Assystem is a leading nuclear engineering firm seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to join the Whitehaven team. You will deliver EC&I design tasks, liaise with stakeholders, and drive timely project delivery in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities include input to design packages, participation in design reviews, and maintaining safety and quality standards while supporting DV/SC clearance prospects.

Formación

• Educated to HNC/HND or degree in a relevant discipline or a chartered & member of an appropriate institute.
• Strong client facing skills for Intelligent Customer interactions.
• Nuclear site experience (preferably Sellafield) and operating in a site-based role.
• Background experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery to timescales.
• Experience with installation design packages and instrument datasheets.
• Previous design delivery experience
• Familiarity and experience of working and complying with applicable SL Practices, standards, and engineering guides
• Familiarity with SL systems e.g., Cimage, icePAC, CAESAR, AVEVA

Responsabilidades

• Supporting timely responses to Technical Queries and Fault Observations raised by the off-site design teams.
• Daily liaison with the project team delivering the works.
• Upward, prompt reporting of issues.
• Ensure that input to designs are to required standards
• Ensure that the work is completed to the agreed schedule.
• Proactive interaction with other disciplines and partners to ensure overall project goals are met.

Your Missions

• Delivery of tasks and support requests to quality and schedule.

• Participate in relevant meetings, such as Model Reviews, Design reviews.
• Support the Lead Engineer where required.

Qualifications

Essential Experience

• Educated to HNC / HND or degree in a relevant discipline or a chartered & member of an appropriate institute
• Strong client facing skills for Intelligent Customer interactions

• Experience with installation design packages and instrument datasheets.
• Previous design delivery experience
• Familiarity and experience of working and complying with applicable SL Practices, standards, and engineering guides
• Familiarity with SL systems e.g., Cimage, icePAC, CAESAR, AVEVA
• Peferably DV clearance but those with SC will be considered.
