Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced earthing design engineer to join our Energy Networks and Renewable team in the UK. You will deliver earthing design studies, EMF calculations, lightning protection, and EMI mitigation for substations up to 400 kV AC, with site travel across the UK and potentially overseas.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status preferred.
• Experience leading earthing projects for high-voltage networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist earthing design engineering for 400 kV and EHV installations.
• Perform EMF calculations and EMI studies; design mitigation measures.
• Manage multiple projects within budget and timescale constraints.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to proposals.
