Qualifications

Candidates must hold an SVQ Level 3, SVQ Level 4, HNC, HND, or equivalent within Early Years.
1 year of experience in childcare and nursery required.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Early Years Educator to join our team at Little Flyers Broxburn.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team
Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children
Provide individualized attention and support to each child's needs
Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and maintaining records
Collaborate with parents, guardians, and staff to support children's development
Promote positive behavior management and social-emotional growth
Maintain a clean and child-friendly classroom environment
Stay updated on early childhood education practices and trends

Skills:

Experience with young children in childcare or early childhood education
Proficient in English (verbal and written)
Knowledge of early childhood development principles

Details:

Salary: £25,555 - £27,737 per year
