Job summary

Kids Planet Garden House is recruiting a Senior Early Years Educator to inspire curiosity and support children’s development in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will work with the Room Leader to plan activities, support teams, and deliver high-quality care following the EYFS framework. DBS checks and safeguarding training are mandatory, with a strong emphasis on family engagement and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS and safeguarding.
• Experience working with young children in early years settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Room Leader and team to deliver high-quality early years care and learning.
• Plan and implement engaging activities aligned with EYFS.
• Build positive relationships with children and families in a welcoming environment.

How you'll make a difference as a Senior Early Years Educator:

• By working closely with the Room Leader to guide and support teams in delivering high-quality care and learning experiences, ensuring all activities align with the EYFS framework.
• Through assisting teams in planning, preparing, and implementing engaging activities that promote children's learning, curiosity, and development.
• By building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families, creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to thrive.

What a Senior Early Years Educator needs:

• Must be at least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
