A leading council in Scotland is seeking a part-time temporary worker at Kilmaurs Early Childhood Centre. The position involves supporting quality early learning and childcare, engaging with families and the community, while complying with necessary regulations. Hours: 17.5 hours per week
Contribute as part of a management team to provide quality early learning and childcare for children, families, and the community, in compliance with national and local guidance, statutes, and standards such as GIRFEC. Support integration of universal services within a locality, aligning with the Education Service Plan, Children and Young People’s Services Plan, and Community Plan.
This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants must become a PVG Scheme member or update their record before employment begins. PVG records are regularly updated, and disclosures will be discussed with applicants prior to employment.

This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position at Kilmaurs Early Childhood Centre. The hours are 17.5 per week, directed by the line manager, until 22 October 2026.
The full-time equivalent salary is £36,455 - £39,985 annually, with a prorated salary of £15,633 - £17,147 for the part-time, term-time schedule.
