Job summary

London Borough of Bexley is seeking a Senior Lead Practitioner within the Family Hub to lead Early Help practice and deliver targeted interventions for children, young people and families aged 0–18 (up to 25 with additional needs where appropriate).

Based in Bexley, the role provides professional leadership to Early Help Practitioners, coordinates multi-agency work with health, education, social care and the voluntary sector, and guides Team Around the Family meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality Early Help practice and coordinate targeted interventions.
• Provide professional leadership and mentoring to Early Help Practitioners.
• Coordinate multi-agency planning including Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings.
• Ensure assessments and plans stay child- and family-centred.
• Collaborate with partners across health, education, social care, police and the voluntary sector.
