Job summary

A specialist engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to oversee a varied project portfolio in electrical and instrumentation systems. This role involves hands-on management of engineering projects, ensuring delivery from conception to handover and requiring strong interpersonal and organisational skills. An ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and experience in managing complex engineering projects within regulated sectors, along with a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering engineering projects end to end.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Owning the full engineering lifecycle: survey, scope, concept design, detailed design, delivery and handover.
• Managing multiple concurrent engineering projects across electrical, mechanical and process disciplines.
• Maintaining regular client communication throughout the project lifecycle.
