Senior HR Advisor Dutch Speaking

Location: Watford

Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term

Working Hours: Full-Time

Language Requirement: Fluent in Dutch and English

We re looking for an experienced and people-focused Senior HR Advisor (Dutch Speaking) to join a busy, multilingual HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You ll play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support to Dutch-speaking employees across the business, combining your knowledge of local employment legislation with a practical, hands-on approach to HR operations.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone confident in managing queries, streamlining processes, and guiding others, all while being part of a collaborative and service-driven environment.

What You ll Be Doing:
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from Dutch-speaking team members across the region
  • Resolve a variety of HR-related enquiries across payroll, policy, and case management, using multiple internal systems
  • Provide tailored advice to managers and employees in line with Dutch employment law and company policies
  • Work alongside colleagues to review service performance, spot trends, and suggest improvements to ways of working
  • Support knowledge-sharing by delivering short, focused training sessions to improve HR understanding across the business
  • Coach fellow team members and contribute to embedding process updates within the team
  • Create and maintain helpful internal resources, such as manager guides and intranet content
  • Play a key role in team-wide communication, supporting the development and delivery of regular business updates


What You ll Bring:
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (both spoken and written)
  • Strong working knowledge of Dutch employment law and its practical use in an HR setting
  • Experience in a high-volume HR or shared services environment
  • Confidence to give accurate, consistent advice on policies and workplace issues
  • Ability to manage and triage queries, while maintaining a high level of service
  • Strong interpersonal skills you ll work with both HR colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and enhance service delivery
  • Ideally, you ll hold a recognised HR qualification (such as CIPD) or equivalent experience
