Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitary engineering pertaining to drinking water
• Knowledge of state and federal laws, rules and regulations governing drinking water
• Knowledge of management practices and principles and administrative and supervisory principles
• Ability to make sound engineering decisions
• Ability to monitor and assess progress and interpret and apply federal and state laws and regulations
• Ability to create technical reports
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal staff, officials, engineers and other public health groups
