Involve Recruitment Ltd. has partnered with a Cardiff-based family-owned consultancy to recruit a senior drainage engineer. You will lead civil drainage design on SuDS-focused projects, guiding a team of engineers and technicians in delivering robust solutions for complex infrastructure schemes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with regulatory bodies, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes and continued professional development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• At least seven years' experience in surface and foul water design and/or construction.
• Degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Chartered status or nearing professional qualification with ICE or CIWEM.
• Proficiency in drainage design software such as MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage.
• Knowledge of water authority approvals (Section 104/106) and SAB requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design delivery on drainage projects across infrastructure.
• Focus on SuDS and conventional surface water drainage design.
• Manage a team and provide technical support and resource planning.
• Coordinate with statutory bodies and clients to ensure delivery.
