Job description

Join Waterman Aspen as a Senior Drainage Engineer and enjoy the benefits of being part of our team while working on diverse projects for our clients. As a key member of the Water and Environment North team, you can expect:

  6. Relevant Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or equivalent
  7. Chartered Member or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution such as CIWEM, ICE, APM, etc.
  8. Experience with UK drainage standards, including SuDS
  9. Proficiency in drainage design using industry-standard software (MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow) and sound hydraulic design principles
  10. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  11. Experience in project and construction management, delivering large-scale infrastructure projects
  12. Ability to work with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams to produce high-quality deliverables
  13. Experience in client-facing environments, building relationships, and influencing stakeholders
  14. Ability to develop mutually beneficial external stakeholder relationships
  15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  16. A full UK driving license
  17. Chartered Membership of a relevant professional organization
