Senior Drainage Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Drainage Engineer to join our Flood and Water Management team based at our London office. Project Centre, part of Marston Holdings, is a leading multi-disciplinary design, engineering, and landscape architecture consultancy whose highly talented people are passionate about creating places that are attractive, innovative, sustainable, and safe. Led by a forward-thinking management team, we work together in multi-disciplinary teams providing considered and sustainable services and solutions. Our approach to integrated design produces award-winning results that have gained international recognition. This is a full-time permanent role, working 2 days in the office and 3 from home.

The Position & Key Responsibilities

1. Production and agreement of drainage strategies
2. Modelling and review of existing drainage networks
3. Undertaking flood risk assessments and determining effective solutions
4. Experience of attenuation and pollution controls
5. Experience in SuDs design from concept through to implementation
6. Drainage detail design
7. Stakeholder engagement
8. Seek to add value on all works and knowledge sharing
9. Ensure quality control
10. Assist in the estimation of works costs and bidding of new works

Person Specification

• Chartered or working towards Chartered status of appropriate professional body
• Demonstrable experience in drainage engineering in both local authority and private sector.
• Wide range of skills and projects including attenuation, SuDS, and public realm
• Experience of working in London and with TfL
• Experience and knowledge within highways, public realm, and civil engineering industry
