Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. seeks an experienced back-end engineer to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems on public cloud platforms. You will work on Kubernetes-based microservices, automation tooling, and IaC, while balancing live-site reliability and feature delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You should bring 5+ years in Python, deep knowledge of concurrency, and experience with CI/CD and cloud providers. Collaboration and on-call readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience with Python.
• Deep understanding of concurrency and scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate resilient distributed systems across data centers.
• Deliver cloud infrastructure automation tools and validation platforms.
• Build microservices on Kubernetes and containerization tech stack.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud provisioning on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain service availability.
• Resolve complex performance and reliability issues with data-driven fixes.
