Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is recruiting for a Band 6 District Nurse Caseload Holder in Bethesda area. You will manage a designated caseload, lead a District Nursing Team, and deliver high standards of care while collaborating with primary health care and other agencies.

You will hold a Specialist Practice Qualification in District Nursing (or be working towards it) and may be a registered Nurse Prescriber or pursuing it.

Qualifications

• DN Specialist Practice qualification or working towards it
• Nurse prescribing qualification or working towards it
• Evidence of ongoing education and professional development
• Mentorship and assessment training

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined caseload in line with good practice over a 24 hour period.
• Lead a pro-active, multi-skilled District Nursing Team delivering high standard of care.
• Collaborate with other agencies to provide patient services without direct supervision.
• Undertake a range of management duties and deputise for the Team Leader when needed.
• Demonstrate ability to mentor and supervise Registered and non-Registered staff
