Senior Distribution Manager - Pay TV and Joint Ventures

The Role

The Senior Distribution Manager will work within the Distribution team at ITV, responsible for managing ITV’s jointly-owned distribution partnerships (Everyone TV and Youview) and ITV’s Pay TV relationships with Sky, Virgin, and BT. Supporting the Director of Distribution for Pay TV, this role aims to maximize the strategic and commercial value of our Joint Ventures across Linear broadcast, AVOD, and SVOD, generating key insights, audience reach, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Joint Ventures: Lead day-to-day relationships with ETV, ensuring strategic and operational alignment; review board papers; brief ITV board representatives; ensure platform strategy alignment; set and communicate partner visions and objectives; develop and oversee plans; represent ITV on joint venture boards where appropriate; manage funding contributions; support platform policy issues; build relationships with JV management and shareholders.
• Pay TV and General Management: Manage relationships with ITV’s pay TV distribution partners; track partner performance; develop initiatives to grow ITV content consumption; oversee performance reviews, business reviews, KPI setting, and reporting; collaborate across teams to ensure understanding of initiatives and opportunities; lead special projects; align strategic objectives with the 'More Than TV' strategy; foster a performance-driven culture within the team.

Skills and Experience

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including financial techniques.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with commercial contracts.
• Strategic and commercial mindset aimed at maximizing value.
• Understanding of streaming platform fundamentals and consumer electronics ecosystems.
• Proven experience in developing effective relationships at all levels and communicating confidently with technical and executive stakeholders.
