Job summary

Digital Asset is seeking a Senior CX Software Engineer to advance the Canton Network. You will work on distributed, privacy-focused financial infrastructure and lead client-facing delivery as a seasoned contributor.

Role requires expertise in functional languages (Scala/Haskell), and experience with distributed and event-driven systems. Flexible location options include New York or London, with compensation reflecting location and experience.

Qualifications

• Broad Canton and Daml understanding.
• Advanced degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of scalable, distributed systems.
• Expertise in at least one functional language (Scala or Haskell).
• Committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to mentor teammates and lead features.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-quality and thoroughly-tested code.
• Delivers incremental improvements to DA products.
• Programs in Scala, Haskell, Java, TypeScript, and Daml.
• Develops on Linux as primary deployment target.
• Develops using Git and GitHub for source control.
• Mentors team members and frequently leads features.
• Engages with clients and senior leadership.
