We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Director Sales Development to lead our global Sales Development function. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for building and scaling a world-class SDR organization that fuels our revenue growth engine. You will initially lead a team of 4 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), with the mandate to optimize pipeline generation, improve lead qualification processes, and support go-to-market strategies in key regions.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and operational plan for Sportradar's Sales Development team.
  • Team Management: Lead, coach, and grow a team of 4 high-performing SDRs across various geographies and verticals.
  • Pipeline Generation: Own top-of-funnel performance metrics, ensuring a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities for our sales organization.
  • Process Optimization: Define and implement scalable outbound and inbound lead development workflows, including tools, messaging frameworks, and KPIs.
  • Tool Evaluation and Implementation: Identify, assess, and implement the right (AI-) tools and platforms to improve SDR productivity, personalization, targeting, and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales to align on ideal customer profiles, campaign targeting, and lead handoff processes.
  • Recruitment & Development: Attract, hire, onboard, and continuously develop SDR talent to support future growth.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor SDR metrics and deliver regular performance reporting and insights to executive stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales, with at least 3 years in a Sales Development or SDR leadership role.
  • Proven success in building and scaling SDR/BDR teams, ideally in a global or multi-region context.
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales development, lead scoring, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and engagement tools
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills with a track record of building high-performance teams.
  • Data-driven and process-oriented, with a passion for optimizing pipeline efficiency and conversion rates.
  • Experience in or passion for the sports, data, or media industries is a strong plus.
