# Senior Director, Retail And Small Business Services – Toronto / Thunder Bay>* Full Time* Windsor**WFCU Credit Union Windsor**As a Senior Director, Retail and Small Business Services, you will provide overall leadership and management to a designated territory while fostering a culture of sales and service excellence. This includes ongoing training and coaching of the retail leadership team; supporting our sales culture; ensuring a high level of employee engagement and ensuring locations operate in accordance with our risk management environment. In summary, Senior Director, Retail and Small Business Services will: Oversee the team of District Directors that support our retail locations in the GTA, Oshawa, Kingston, Peterborough, North Bay, Midland, Kakabeka Falls and Thunder Bay areas with regular on-site leadership presence expected at each of these locations Support the development and execution of the business development strategy and plans that will drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish the credit union’s financial objectives. Define clear expectations and performance metrics for the sales leadership teams. Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed. Oversee the development and monitoring of the annual, quarterly and monthly business plans to maximize growth and member retention to support the strategic growth and direction of the credit union. Actively support business development and community investment opportunities, mentoring staff as required, including WFCU’s representation at events across its regions of operation. Support WFCU’s culture of accountability, ensuring staff members meet and exceed sales goals while complying with risk management practices. Research and analyze the business environment, industry trends, competitors, and current/potential members to develop ideas for new products and services, pricing, and business models. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to support our overall business objectives. Uphold the culture of service and risk, ensuring adherence to policies and the code of conduct. Identify, mitigate and report on risk issues per policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure appropriate escalation processes are followed. Ensure adherence to established policies, guidelines and procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Consistently provide Five Star service to internal and external members while assisting with the management of member issues within prescribed guidelines. Complete any other duties as assigned. The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are: A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience. Professionalism, with the ability to be successful motivating a team to achieve and exceed sales goals. A solid knowledge of financial products and services. Demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to providing exceptional member service. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent communication skills. Ability to travel regularly between Toronto and Thunder Bay; as well as across the market footprint. Travel to our corporate office in Windsor will also be required.
