This is a leadership role, reporting to the Corporate VP of Platform and Application Services. The EMEA Professional Services leader manages the Professional Services Business Unit for EMEA, focusing on running a profitable professional services business with responsibilities in Sales, Solutioning, and Delivery. The role involves partnering with the field sales team to grow professional services in EMEA, including primary Public Cloud consulting, implementation, and system integration for major Hyperscalers. The role also entails close collaboration with Hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure) to develop business plans in Professional Services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. P&L leadership for Professional Services in EMEA, with accountability for revenue, margin, and utilization targets.
2. Strategic planning to deliver a clear business plan, including offerings, target markets, monetization models, and performance metrics.
3. Driving the growth of Professional Services in EMEA through collaboration with sales and go-to-market teams.
4. Leading solution and advisory-led sales efforts with existing and new clients.
5. Participating actively in presales activities and deal reviews.
6. Developing differentiated solutions to help clients achieve their business objectives.
7. Overseeing the delivery of large and complex consulting and professional services engagements across EMEA, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
8. Partnering with Hyperscalers to create strategic initiatives and top-tier consulting offerings.
9. Collaborating with Offering and Marketing teams to develop market-leading offers and lead their sales and deployment.
10. Managing and leading a large team of consultants and architects across the region.
11. Building a world-class organization through talent management, including attracting, developing, and retaining key talent like Enterprise Architects and Consultants.
12. Maintaining operational excellence with healthy utilization rates and accurate forecasting of revenue, margin, and utilization.
13. Representing the business to senior leaders and clients, demonstrating leadership and communication skills.
14. Providing technical thought leadership and serving as a technical influencer within Rackspace.
15. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of clients' industries, proactively addressing opportunities and issues.

Skills:

1. Experienced P&L leader with extensive experience managing Professional and Consulting Services businesses, preferably in Cloud or similar organizations exceeding $150M.
2. Strong understanding of technology, architecture, and professional services engagement development.
3. Deep knowledge of Cloud offerings and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
4. Proven ability to lead customer discussions and secure deals based on solution strength.
5. Successful track record of delivering large consulting engagements.
6. Strategic thinker with long-term planning skills.
7. Comprehensive knowledge of business operations, including strategic and operational planning.
8. Proven leadership in developing, marketing, and selling technology-based consulting and professional services.
9. Ability to lead technical sales, consulting, and project management teams.
10. Strong leadership, motivation, and innovation skills.
11. Excellent communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills.
12. Ability to present effectively to technical audiences.
13. Attention to detail across all work areas.

Education:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field is required.
2. Advanced degree is preferred.
3. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience:

1. Over 15 years of experience building and leading technology-focused Professional Services businesses.
2. More than 12 years of architecting advanced enterprise solutions using both traditional and emerging technologies.
3. At least 8 years of experience leading teams of 200+ people.

Travel Time:

1. Willingness and ability to travel up to 25-50% as needed.
