Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Director, Product Management - Intellectual Property Data to lead our product management efforts across both trademark and patent data domains. This role requires a deep understanding of Intellectual Property, particularly patents and trademarks.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, Business, or Law. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on software development and data.
  • Extensive understanding of Intellectual Property, including both trademarks and patents, with experience working with IP data and PTOs.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, data engineering, software development methodologies, and project management frameworks.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

What will you be doing in this role?
  • Drive the strategic vision and execution of our IP data products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market needs.
  • Lead and manage teams focused on both trademark and patent data, fostering collaboration and innovation across departments.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, market-leading IP data solutions.
  • Manage the integration of trademark and patent data within IPMSs, ensuring seamless and efficient data workflows.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the IP data landscape.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demands, and strategic objectives.
  • Provide deep subject matter expertise on both trademarks and patents, guiding the team in developing innovative solutions that meet the needs of IP professionals and businesses.
  • Work with customers to gather feedback, understand their pain points, and ensure the product meets their needs and expectations.
  • Mentor and lead a team of product managers, data analysts, and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

About the Team

This role reports into the VP, IP Content Strategy & Management and will lead the wider team as well as collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the business.

Hours of Work

Full-time, permanent role based out of one of our EMEA office locations on a hybrid basis, 2 days per week in the office. We are also open to remote working within the UK, France, Belgium and The Netherlands but our preference is hybrid.
