About The Role

The Senior Director of Product Portfolio leads the strategic direction, coherence, and performance of RX’s digital product portfolio, ensuring it delivers measurable value across the customer journey and aligns with RX’s long-term goals. This role defines and communicates a clear product vision and investment strategy, while leading a team of Product Directors and collaborating with cross-functional leaders to maintain a cohesive, scalable, and customer-focused portfolio. As a key member of the Digital Board, the Director contributes to executive decision-making, using data to prioritize initiatives that balance technical soundness, commercial viability, and customer needs.

In addition to strategic leadership, the Director is responsible for building a high-performing and inclusive product organization by mentoring talent and promoting best practices in product management. They also support teams such as Product Success, Commercial, and Data Analytics by sharing product knowledge and fostering collaboration. This role requires a balance of long-term vision and near-term delivery, commercial insight and stakeholder empathy, and innovation with operational discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Champion customer needs by deeply understanding their goals, challenges, and industry trends.
  • Champion end-to-end customer experience across the product ecosystem and stages of the customer journey.
  • Lead data-informed product decisions using research, testing, and strategic analysis.
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive product development from vision through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Communicate product value clearly to and build high trust relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Own product strategy in response to market shifts and customer feedback.
  • Lead and coach product leaders, developing leadership bench strength and strategic acumen.
  • Act as a role model for collaborative leadership across functions and coordinate with peers at the Digital Board to ensure alignment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a sharp instinct for value creation and capture.
  • Expert level analytical and decision-making skills, even in data-scarce environments.
  • Track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management across multiple products.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
  • Ability to inspire, mentor, and develop others in a team environment.
  • Ability to operate at the executive level, collaborate and build strong relationships with peers in Digital Board and Business Unit stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive leadership and customer-centric thinking.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex situations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are a strong plus but not required.
