Job summary

Waters Corporation in the United Kingdom seeks a senior Search & Evaluation leader with life sciences expertise and strong business development background to architect and manage a portfolio of inorganic and partnering opportunities.

You will drive scientific and commercial due diligence, build external networks, and collaborate with Finance, Strategy, R&D and Commercial teams to deliver high-impact assessments and strategic deals.

Qualifications

MD, PhD, PharmD, or other advanced degree in life sciences preferred.
10+ years in the life sciences tools industry or related biotech/healthcare field with significant business development experience.
Proven leadership and project management experience.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead S&E efforts for BD opportunities across Waters and manage a robust portfolio for maximum impact.
Conduct initial assessment and lead scientific/clinical due diligence with cross-functional teams.
Build external networks with bankers, VC, incubators to identify opportunities.
Collaborate with Finance, Enterprise Strategy, R&D and Commercial stakeholders and external partners.
Lead updates to the Business Development Committee and maintain a watch list of strategic opportunities.
