Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director, Head of Late Oncology Program Management to lead strategic direction and execution for late-stage oncology programs. You will partner with Clinical Development leadership to shape study design, feasibility, and portfolio governance across global trials.

The role requires deep experience in managing multi-country trials, strong budgeting capabilities, and an ability to drive data-driven decisions while guiding a high-performing team across time zones.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering late-stage oncology trials (Phase 2/3/4) across multiple countries.
• Experience partnering with Clinical Development Leads on study design and feasibility.
• Proven governance and budgeting experience for multi-million dollar trials.
• Global study management leadership in pharma/biotech/CRO.
• Strong strategic leadership and ability to balance functional and enterprise goals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic vision for Late Oncology and Early Phase Program Management.
• Serve as member of Clinical Operations Leadership Team; governance and resource planning.
• Foster high-performance culture and scalable capabilities.
• Ensure end-to-end delivery of late-phase oncology trials on time, budget, with scope.
• Partner across Clinical Operations, GCDO, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Biometrics, Safety.
• Manage budgets and integrated timelines for governance committees.
• Line management and career development of Clinical Operations Directors.
• Drive digital transformation and AI analytics for risk-based oversight.
• Ensure QA compliance with ICH GCP and Jazz SOPs.
• Lead process optimization and cross-functional enterprise alignment.
