Job summary

Fitch Ratings’ Funds & Asset Management group seeks a Director based in our London office to lead quantitative and qualitative analyses of funds and related structured transactions. You will develop models, review documentation, and present rating recommendations to committees while driving research on market trends.

The ideal candidate has strong finance experience with funds, solid Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities, and will thrive in a collaborative, global team environment

Qualifications

• Experience in finance with exposure to funds, structured finance or debt underwriting.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the credit quality of funds and structured transactions, including portfolio analysis.
• Review legal documentation for transactions, including indentures, prospectuses, etc.
• Develop financial models and databases.
• Participate in on-site due diligence review meetings with fund managers.
• Present rating recommendations to committees.
• Contribute to research on trends affecting the sectors covered.
• Interact with investors, bankers, fund managers and other market participants.
