Job summary
ITAC Solutions in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture to define and drive the technology strategy across the organization. You will shape the architecture foundation for digital transformation, guide executive decisions, and mentor a team of architects.
You’ll lead cloud adoption, API-first integration, microservices, and AI initiatives, while reducing technical debt and aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Expertise with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
- Experience building enterprise technology strategy and governance at scale.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the enterprise architecture strategy aligned with business goals
- Establish architecture standards, governance, and technology frameworks
- Lead enterprise architecture reviews and guide strategic technology decisions
- Drive cloud adoption, API-first integration, microservices, and AI initiatives
- Reduce technical debt while optimizing enterprise applications and platforms
- Partner with executive leadership to shape technology investments
- Lead and develop a high-performing architecture organization
