Job summary

Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional Assistant Director Engineering and Compliance to provide strategic leadership across engineering governance, infrastructure compliance and assurance.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Infrastructure, this role translates legal requirements and national policy into a deliverable strategy and effective operational practice across the Trust’s estate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivering engineering governance and compliance strategies in large, regulated environments.
• Track record of leading compliance, assurance and risk management functions.
• Qualified Engineer with professional membership (e.g., CEng) is preferred.

• Provide strategic leadership across engineering governance, compliance and assurance.
• Translate legal requirements and national policy into delivery plans across the estate.
