Job summary

Essentia, part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, seeks an experienced Engineering Compliance Manager to ensure statutory and mandatory building and engineering requirements are met across its healthcare estate.

You will provide assurance over services from in-house teams and partners, supporting safe, compliant and high-performing estate operations with strong governance, auditing and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering compliance within a healthcare estate.
• Strong knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements, health and safety legislation, HTMs.
• Knowledge of water safety is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Provide assurance over services delivered by in-house teams and contracting partners.
• Support safe, compliant and high-performing estate operations.
• Identify gaps, escalate concerns and drive remedial action across multiple sites.
• Maintain regulatory readiness and governance reporting.
