Senior Director, EDA Engineering Ecosystem About the Role We're looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Director to lead Arm's EDA Engineering Ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you'll drive the vision and execution of Arm's strategic partnerships with EDA vendors and third-party ecosystem players. Your mission: to improve tooling, flows, and application ecosystems that empower Arm's engineering teams and enable our customers to innovate at scale. What You’ll Do • Shape and lead the development of Arm’s EDA ecosystem strategy in alignment with our broader business goals. • Identify, engage, and lead high-value partnerships with EDA vendors and third-party providers. • Drive cross-functional initiatives with Central and Solutions Engineering, Legal, Line-of-Business, IT, and Sales teams. • Lead all aspects of the partnership lifecycle from opportunity identification through due diligence, negotiation, and execution. • Develop and refine joint go-to-market strategies and co-marketing initiatives in collaboration with global marketing. • Define and track critical metrics to measure the impact and return on investment of ecosystem relationships. • Advocate for Arm’s strategic needs in partner negotiations, while building trust-based, long-term collaborations. • Present ecosystem updates and initiatives to internal and external partners, including executive leadership and industry audiences. What You Bring • Proven experience in EDA, SoC/IP design, or semiconductor ecosystems. • Deep technical knowledge of Silicon to Systems, IP, foundries, and EDA tooling. • Shown success in developing, negotiating, and scaling strategic partnerships. • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence without direct authority. • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with executive and cross-functional teams. • A collaborative approach and a passion for driving innovation through ecosystem alignment. • Education: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred). Bonus Skills • Experience working with Arm-based systems • Familiarity with KPIs for partnership and product ecosystem effectiveness. • Prior experience leading global partnerships across engineering and commercial functions.
