GALVmed, the Global Alliance for Livestock Veterinary Medicines, is dedicated to making livestock vaccines, diagnostics, and other animal health products accessible and affordable in low- and middle-income countries where livestock is vital for livelihoods.

As a not-for-profit organization, GALVmed develops high-impact livestock health products and supports private sector initiatives in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Headquartered in Edinburgh, we operate as a public-private partnership and a UK-registered charity.

We are seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Services & Finance to lead our corporate functions, including finance, governance, compliance, project management, IT, and office management, both in the UK and internationally. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with the CEO and acts as a key guardian of GALVmed's operational integrity.

The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified accountant with strong commercial and analytical skills
• Experienced in senior leadership across multiple disciplines
• Familiar with board-level responsibilities, preferably as a Company Secretary
• Knowledgeable in charitable and commercial accounting
• Experienced in working with grant funders and their reporting requirements
• Skilled in operating within multicultural and international environments
• Excellent in communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Diplomatic, culturally sensitive, and proactive
• Willing to travel approximately 3-4 weeks per year
