Location: UK (Remote) | Travel: ~50%

A global contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) is hiring a Senior Director of Business Development to lead strategic growth across its service portfolio (small molecule, biologics, ADCs, peptides, and oligonucleotides). This is a senior, client-facing role with responsibility for high-value partnerships and long-term revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development strategy across multiple therapeutic and modality areas
  • Build and manage key client relationships, from first contact through to close
  • Partner with technical and executive teams to align proposals with client needs
  • Represent the company at major conferences and in high-level negotiations

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years in BD or commercial leadership within CDMO, CRO, or pharma services

Strong knowledge across modalities (small molecule, biologics, or ADCs)

Proven track record of winning complex deals and building client trust

Strong communicator, commercially minded, and highly collaborative
