Using exceptional research and analytical skills, they produce thought-leading research that clients apply to achieve their business goals. Analysts engage with clients through meetings, conferences, and other interactions to discuss challenges and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative research content on software engineering architecture and development for a global audience.
• Engage with clients through presentations, conferences, and on-site visits, translating a vision for cloud-native and AI-native software into actionable strategies.
• Analyze client issues to identify root causes and help reframe their thinking for strategic solutions.
• Research and predict technology and market trends to provide actionable insights.
• Develop and deliver high-quality presentation materials for various events and client briefings.
• Support research and sales teams by providing market insights and driving client engagement.
• Represent Gartner research and methodology to clients, press, and on social media.
• Participate in research discussions, collaborate with peers, and review research outputs.
• Mentor and support newer team members.
• Maintain a client-centric approach, engaging clients regularly with Gartner research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related technologies (containers, orchestration, serverless, APIs, microservices).
• Experience with Generative AI tools impacting software development.
• Proven leadership in agile product teams and software architecture thought leadership.
• Ability to articulate technology adoption scenarios for senior leaders.
• Strong executive presence and credibility with stakeholders.
• Excellent research, writing, presentation, and data analysis skills.
• Business acumen and understanding of global market dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
