- Proven working experience in project management, ideally in an agency environment with E-commerce projects from inception to launch.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
- Excellent line management, matrix management, and mentoring skills.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or G Suite.
- A recognized project management certification such as Certified Scrum Professional, Agile PM, PMP, or PRINCE II is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
The Senior Digital Project Manager will work with various clients on multiple projects or one large project. They will manage and build client relationships, report on project status, and support, mentor, and matrix-manage Junior/Mid Project Managers to deliver client projects and develop the Delivery practice.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for smooth project execution.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Define project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and budget estimates.
- Develop detailed project plans and documentation to monitor progress and manage changes.
- Manage and deliver projects across their digital lifecycle, including post-implementation reviews and continuous improvements.
- Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Complete project-related and administrative tasks accurately and on time, such as timesheets, sign-offs, resource planning, expense submissions, reports, and compliance documents.
- Develop leadership skills proactively.
- Seek opportunities for client account growth to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Support the Senior Leadership in designing and implementing project management frameworks and best practices.
- Organize, coordinate, and mentor Junior Project Managers.
- Collaborate with functional teams to build strong internal relationships.
