Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking a Senior Digital Product Owner to lead a team delivering digital experiences across web and app platforms. Based in Norwich or Leeds, you will own product strategy, roadmap and budget while collaborating with Commercial, Design and Technology to drive measurable customer and business value.

You will influence senior stakeholders, champion data-driven decisions and steward innovative propositions, including AI-enabled improvements across Aviva’s digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading digital products across web and app platforms, with ownership of product strategy, roadmaps, budgets and delivery outcomes, ideally within Insurance, Financial Services or another highly regulated environment.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop Product Owners and cross-functional teams, working collaboratively across Product, Engineering, Commercial and Operational functions to deliver customer and business value.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders, aligning priorities across multiple business areas and translating customer, commercial and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and data-led decision-making capability, using customer insight, digital analytics, experimentation, behavioural data and performance KPIs to identify opportunities, set priorities and continuously improve customer experiences.
• A track record of delivering complex digital initiatives from concept to launch with knowledge of AI technologies and their application to improve colleague productivity and customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Product Owners delivering digital experiences across web and app platforms.
• Define product strategy, owning the roadmap and budget, to deliver strong customer, commercial and operational outcomes.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Pricing, Underwriting, Operations, Design and Technology to identify opportunities and prioritise investments.
• Use customer insight, analytics and performance data to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Drive end-to-end journeys, platform modernization and innovative propositions, aligning with senior stakeholders.
