About the Role

As the Senior Digital Manager, you will be a pivotal leader in driving our digital customer journey and performance marketing strategy. You will take ownership of the inbound digital experience, from initial engagement to conversion, and play a key role in optimising our paid media efforts. You will lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. In addition, you will be responsible for the line management and development of the Growth Marketing Manager (ABM & Nurture), fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.

What you will be doing:

Roles and responsibilities include

Strategic Leadership & Planning

Develop and implement a holistic digital marketing strategy encompassing paid search, paid social, and inbound customer journey optimisation.

Lead the development of performance marketing strategies, aligning with business growth targets and ROI objectives.

Collaborate with senior management, product marketing, and content & campaign teams to ensure seamless integration of digital initiatives with broader marketing and business strategies.

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns and initiatives.

Oversee the end-to-end execution of paid digital advertising across all relevant platforms - including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Linkedin, eLearning Institute and G2 amongst others.

Collaborate on the digital strategy with external agencies and vendors, and manage those relationships as needed.

Drive continuous improvement through rigorous data analysis and optimisation of ad copy, targeting, and bidding strategies.

Manage and optimise the inbound digital customer journey, working closely with the Marketing Operations Manager, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience across all touchpoints.

Build and drive a conversion rate optimisation strategy centred on continuous improvement, with a particular focus on improving landing page and form experiences.

Implement advanced audience segmentation and personalisation strategies to enhance campaign relevance and effectiveness through the inbound journey.

Provide effective line management and mentorship to the Growth Marketing Manager (Nurture & ABM), fostering professional growth and development.

Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.

Work with the Growth Marketing Manager to ensure that nurture and ABM programs are aligned with the overall digital strategy.

Budget Management & Reporting

Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximising ROI.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date budget tracking and reporting, providing regular updates to senior management.

Work with the Marketing Operations Manager to generate comprehensive performance reports, analysing key metrics and providing actionable insights for optimisation.

Present data-driven recommendations to senior management, influencing strategic decisions and driving business growth.

  • Management Experience: You will bring proven experience in leading and developing direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You will be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and collaborate cross-functionally to drive outcomes.
  • Platform Proficiency: You will be proficient in managing advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, along with marketing automation systems like HubSpot.
  • Budget Management: You will have experience managing and optimising digital marketing budgets to ensure efficient allocation and maximum ROI.
  • Agency Engagement: You will be skilled in working with external partners, including agencies and contractors, to support the successful execution of your digital strategy.
