The Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine seeks to appoint a Senior Digital Education Officer to join its Digital Education Team. This role focuses on the design, setup, and configuration of online assessments, while also providing daily digital education support. Responsibilities also include support of blended learning and teaching activity, and routine VLE (Moodle) administration, advice & guidance to facilitate the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the Faculty, including staff support and training.
Candidates should possess a degree in e-learning, computer science, a related field, or have equivalent work experience. Essential qualifications include proven ability in providing TEL (technology enhanced learning) and VLE support; delivering staff development training in these areas, and a track record of utilising TEL within higher education context.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week), currently operating a hybrid working model, 2 days a week minimum on campus. and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
