About the Role

We are looking for a London based Senior Digital Designer (6 Month Maternity Cover) who will use a high level of expertise to create and deliver digital concepts to meet a variety of client briefs and expectations. You’ll be responsible for helping to drive the creative direction of campaigns and possess a strong understanding of typography, layout, animation and responsive design. You will also be actively assisting in the day-to-day management of the Creative Production team. This includes the direct management of other team members and overall team workload management. Working with authority and professionalism, you will support the Creative Directors by delegating tasks and offer feedback to team members, ensuring the integrity of the work is to MOBKOI’s premium standard. Reporting into the Director of Creative Production, you’ll take an active role in the growth and progression of the Creative Team as well as MOBKOI as a whole. You will actively participate in client interactions independently, using your extensive knowledge to grow and nurture MOBKOI’s client base, continuing and expanding on MOBKOI's tradition of excellence in creative production and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients and campaign partners to design and build high quality ads across a multitude of formats, balancing looks and performance with technical and publisher requirements.
• Advise the sales team as well as clients on design, best practices and creative direction based on the objectives and KPIs of each brief.
• Work closely with operational teams to optimise creatives for different publishers, devices and environments.
• Create demos and supporting graphics for sales pitches as well as contributing to internal design projects.
• Work on new ideas and assist in developing new ad products.
• Be one of the largest sources of creative knowledge in the team, with the ability to answer all technical & strategic questions.
• Team Management - Directly oversee those designers who report to you, ensuring they are meeting both their professional and development goals. Actively assist in their growth and day-to-day work.
• Team Support - Support the Creative Directors in providing leadership and coordination to all teams, dealing with both technical and operational matters.
• Manage your workload independently and deliver results within a deadline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of digital design experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and After Effects/Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency with digital ad platforms - ideally Celtra or similar.
• High attention to detail and commitment to providing a first-class product.
• Strong time and work-flow management.
• Understanding of responsive design, especially for mobile.
• Strong knowledge of animation & web based design.
