Allegro MicroSystems, LLC in Edinburgh is seeking a Snr Digital Design Engineer to define and implement the digital architecture for mixed-signal motor drive ICs. You will mentor engineers and lead the architecture for complex digital solutions, from IP to full SoC designs.
You will own project schedules, drive technical strategy, oversee resources, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, tapeout-ready designs while maintaining FuSa compliance.

You will have the autonomy to influence technical direction, mentor talented engineers, and solve the most challenging problems in automotive motor control. You will be responsible for leading the architecture and design for complex digital solutions, from standalone IP to full System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.
This role may require domestic and international travel up to 10-20% to support customers, vendors, and off-site design teams in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
