Senior Digital Creative

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (Hybrid)

Here at Mayborn Group we are looking for a senior team member to lead and raise standards of brand design across the digital design team.

As the Senior Digital Creative you will be a driving force alongside Head of Brand Content and Campaigns in brand and NPD campaign ideation as well as ensuring Tommee Tippee are at the forefront of digital and creative design. You will be responsible to drive creative ideas and collaboration across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that the team deliver integrated digital creative against the brand strategy.

You’re a versatile designer, drawing on digital design, animation, video editing, social media and more to unlock the full storytelling potential of every project.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with HoBCC to bring brand strategy to life through brand, product and sales driven campaigns.
  • Brainstorming ideas, developing concepts, and creating visualisations.
  • Leading creative projects, managing other designers, and delivering compelling work across digital platforms.
  • You will be responsible of upholding ‘Tommee Tippee Standards’, driving creative excellence through all forms of storytelling, across multiple touchpoints and platforms.
  • Reviewing project work for highest standards of quality, consistency and accuracy for successful completion.
  • Work strategically to drive ideas and brand awareness, providing strong engagement through creative deliverables across all consumer channels.
  • Recognize the possibilities beyond the scope of the assignment. Bring a passion and strength for explaining the strategic thought behind creative decisions.
  • Continue to expand and strengthen the Tommee Tippee brand toolkit, while staying true to the brand and its core values.
  • Staying up to date with current trends in design, art, fashion, and technology.
  • Drive the adoption of emerging technologies i.e. AI

What skills and experiences you’ll need to ace this job:

  • Significant experience in similar role (agency or a busy in-house dept).
  • Experience of working within a challenging, fast-paced and rewarding environment.
  • High level of experience in ideating and designing brand campaigns. Well versed at designing and leading all aspects of the digital design process, particularly concepting, UX/UI, responsive and mobile first design and motion.
  • Avid follower of brand, creative campaigns and social trends as well as in-depth knowledge and best practice within digital advertising.
  • Have a strategic mindset and be able to think critically to identify opportunities and craft campaigns to achieve brand objectives.
  • Highly collaborative, with strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to lead and inspire the team.
  • Fluent skills in the core Adobe CC programmes including Premier Pro and After Effects, Figma.
  • An aptitude for global thinking with an open mind, big ideas, and the curiosity to pursue them
