Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Digital Manager to lead information management and digital construction on a Plymouth project. You will drive 4D planning, digital rehearsals, field data capture and handover, embedding digital outputs into daily delivery.

The role requires shaping the digital strategy, coordinating with engineering, planning and procurement, and ensuring ISO 19650 compliance and secure information management across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership on multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in live construction environments with BIM and digital outputs.
• 3–5 years on construction projects or facilities management.
• Practical understanding of construction sequencing and interfaces.
• Experience applying ISO 19650 and producing related deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; time management.
• Proven contribution to prequalification and tender submissions.
• Higher education in construction or engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead project digital workload and resources on and off site.
• Act as BIM and information management adviser to clients and teams.
• Implement the project digital strategy following BAM standards.
• Lead BIM and digital construction activities across planning to handover.
• Support 4D planning and digital rehearsals linking programmes.
• Collaborate to improve buildability and interfaces.
• Champion field BIM and digital tools on site.
• Lead information management in accordance with ISO 19650.
• Manage Project and Asset Information Models and CDEs.
• Develop key information management documentation.
