Scotland Excel is a leading public sector procurement body based in Paisley. We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead commercial delivery for complex digital and technology projects within a hybrid working arrangement.

The role involves translating priorities into robust contracts, managing the full sourcing lifecycle from strategy to mobilisation, and collaborating with councils, suppliers and sector partners to realise best value for Scotland's public services.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering procurement projects in complex environments.
• Strong commercial thinking and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement-related systems.
• Ability to interpret financial and commercial information.

Responsabilités

• Lead the commercial and procurement delivery of complex digital and technology projects.
• Translate priorities into compliant, commercially robust contracts.
• Manage procurement strategy, market engagement, tendering, evaluation and contracting.
• Support transition into contract management with clear performance measures and risk management.
• Provide specialist commercial support on supplier issues, variations and renewals.
• Develop and implement pricing and contracting solutions addressing commercial and regulatory risks.
