Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Barry is recruiting a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a quality-focused automotive repair team. You will diagnose faults, perform electrical repairs, and ensure high workmanship standards in a supportive environment.

The role offers enhanced overtime, training opportunities, and a 4-day rota option. Successful candidates will have NVQ2 or equivalent and valid UK licence, with Barry or nearby residence preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent; applications from time-served technicians will also be considered
• Must have a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Reside in or near the Barry region or within reasonable commuting distance

Responsibilities

• Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and electrical issue resolution
• Perform large repairs and component replacements adhering to client standards
• Ensure all work is completed to a high quality standard with first-time accuracy
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and workshop procedures
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of diagnostics and repairs
• Support workshop team to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold health and safety standards
