Job summary

Lookers Glasgow Audi is seeking a skilled Senior/Diagnostic Vehicle Technician for a permanent, full-time role in Glasgow. You will perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Motor industry experience (brand).
• Full and valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based technology.
• Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects.
• Taking the customers vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified.
• Warranty repairs are per the manufacturer’s guidelines and relevant write up is complete.
• Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.

Permanent, Full Time

Realistic annual earnings:

Senior / Diagnostic Technician – £50,685 realistic annual earnings (based £41,000 basic, includes HVE qualification)

Flexible hours available:

40 hours Monday–Friday (08:30–17:00), plus 1 in 3 Saturdays (08:30–12:30) OR choose a fixed 4‑day working week (Mon–Thu / Tue–Fri, 42 hours)

An excellent opportunity has opened at Glasgow Audi for skilled, motivated senior/diagnostic Technician to join our established and high‑performing site. This role offers the chance to develop your career within a trusted, well‑supported workshop environment.

You’ll carry out high‑quality servicing, repairs and diagnostics, ensuring every customer leaves with complete confidence in their vehicle.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience (brand), and a full and valid UK driving licence. You’ll be self-motivated whilst being able to support your team, ambitious and eager to learn, and are able to work to and maintain the highest of standards to all vehicles that take a spin through our doors.

Although previous brand experience is desirable, it is not essential, as brand accreditation training will be provided.
