Job summary

UHNM is seeking Band 6 Diagnostic Radiographers to rotate between General X-ray and CT at the Stafford County Hospital Imaging Department. The role sits within the UHNM Imaging Directorate alongside Royal Stoke, Haywood Hospital, and community units.

The post involves a varied shift pattern with on-call duties and a structured training programme, including IV cannulation. You will contribute to high-quality imaging services across a busy NHS trust.

Qualifications

• >18 months post-qualification NHS experience
• >Experience with CR/DR x-ray systems
• >Knowledge of QA programmes
• >Experience across General Imaging services including theatres, MSK, IP/OPs and trauma imaging
• >Experience supervising junior staff and students
• >Evidence of additional responsibilities on General Modality
• >Experience with Red Dot/Commenting Scheme

Responsibilities

• Rotate between General X-ray and CT as Band 6 within the Imaging Directorate.
• Participate in on-call duties and flexible rosters.
• Engage in a tailored training programme including IV cannulation.
• Contribute to developing as clinical experts in imaging practice.
• Support opportunities for staff development and leadership within the team.
