Job summary

Intellectual Capital Resources in Cambridge is seeking a Security Lead Engineer to take a lead role across our cloud platform, infrastructure, and production environments. You will own resilience, security testing, and the implementation of best practices.

The role requires strong experience with AWS and other hyperscalers, IaC in Python/Go/Bash, and deep knowledge of IAM, networking, and compute. This hybrid office-based position offers challenging projects and close collaboration with our AI

Qualifications

• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and securing platforms on AWS and other hyperscalers.
• Deep understanding of IAM and identity federation.
• Deep understanding of networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, VPNs, private endpoints).
• Deep understanding of compute (Kubernetes, VMs, serverless).
• Deep understanding of storage and managed databases.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS would be useful.

Salary: £59,000 - 99,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and securing platforms on AWS and other hyperscalers
• Programming experience for IaC in Python, Go, Bash or similar
• Deep understanding of IAM and identity federation
• Deep understanding of networking, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, VPNs, and private endpoints
• Deep understanding of compute, including Kubernetes, VMs, and serverless
• Deep understanding of storage and managed databases
• Deep understanding of cloud cost optimization and resource governance
• Ability to troubleshoot problems in production and work with key customers
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience working in secure multi-tenancy environments would be useful
• HPC administration experience would be useful
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS would be useful
