Job summary

Adecco, London-based, is seeking a Senior DevOps professional for a 12 month contract with hybrid working (2 days on site).

Role requires SC clearance eligibility and active live clearance is preferred. You will map stories to platforms, build secure deployments, and continuously improve pipelines and tooling to boost reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration and Docker.
• Proficient in Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Experience building and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to advise on deployment risk and security.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Support teams mapping stories to platforms for secure deployments.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teams in mapping their stories to available platforms, ensuring effective and secure service deployment.
• Developing and maintaining hardened base containers, undertaking skilled platform build and support activities.
• Identifying gaps in best practices, advising teams on delivery risks and recommending improvements.
• Assisting engineers with service topology discovery, helping define quality assurance (QA) and deployment pipelines.
• Driving adoption of new tools and technologies, improving teams' integration approaches.
