Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, develop and maintain the infrastructure powering our services. You will lead initiatives across multiple projects, guiding engineers to meet customer and programme requirements with a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• DevOps engineer with CI/CD, containerisation and deployment tech experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and IaC.
• Linux system administration experience.
• Knowledge of databases: SQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB.
• Strong communication and collaboration in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on development and contribute to codebase, including peer reviews.
• Design engineering features that support delivery of the product roadmap.
• Break down large pieces of work into well-defined tasks aligned with Agile delivery.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, taking ownership of build and deployment processes.
• Demonstrate development progress to internal and external customers through clear presentations.
