We are the pioneers of Cash Out and have been granted a series of patents in relation to the functionality across all forms of betting and gaming. We have also built the first-ever crowdfunding solution for sports betting, Colossus Syndicates. This technology can also be made available to partners who wish to operate their own pools for their own end players.

About this role

We are on the hunt for a talented DevOps engineer. The candidate will work with the company's Devs, QA, and Product teams, enabling smooth Continuous Build, Integration, and Deployment.

The candidate must have proved professional experience and proficiency with:

  • Terraform or OpenTofu
  • Gitlab CD/CI and development of custom .gitlab-ci.yml

The ideal candidate also has experience with applications written in C#, Ruby-on-Rails and node.js, so they can better interact with the development team.

Lastly, the candidate has solid technical security knowledge and is comfortable working in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Second in command, reporting directly to the CTO
  • Managing and improving our cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform
  • Managing and improving the build system using Gitlab CD/CI
  • Managing and improving the application hosting environments in Kubernetes
  • Automating the tests and deployments of our applications using GitLab CI
  • Monitoring and enhancing the security of our environments
  • And a lot more - as we are still a small company and growing, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, which also means you will get exposure to more than you would at most other places in a short time!

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent
  • AWS Solution Architect certified
  • HashiCorp Terraform associated certified
  • Proficient with Linux
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, MySQL, AWS, GitLab CI
  • General programming experience, especially Ruby-on-Rails
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm, and be part of something growing
